Welcome to the website of the “Walcker-Bund” — a German family association!

Association

The “Walcker-Bund e. V.” (roughly translated as “Walcker federation”) was founded in Stuttgart, Germany in 1929. For nearly a hundred years it has been connecting many Walcker/Walker descendants. Once in a year a so called “Walcker-Tag” (“Walcker day”) takes place. In this setting there is always held the official general meeting of the association.

History of our ancestors

Our families Walcker/Walker originate from the German city of Reutlingen. From this place most Walcker/Walker moved to the municipality of Kirchentellinsfurt and to the whole the region. The history of our ancestors traces back via the patrician family “Becht” from Tübingen and the “Lords of Pfullingen” to “Walther of Pfullingen” in the year 995.
